Island Assisted Living is Hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) Near Hempstead, NY

Assisted Living Looking for caring and energetic home health aides to work with geriatric residents. HHA’s will be providing the following (but not limited to): assisting in maintaining clean and hazard free environment, ADL’s including bathing, grooming, dressing and cleaning. Must be able multitask and prioritize.

Shifts available for Morning, Evening, Overnights and Weekends. Specifically need 3pm-11pm including at least one weekende day.

Requirements:

  • Resume
  • Valid HHA Certification
  • Must be able to communicate in the English language efficiently. Bilingual a plus.
  • 2 forms of Government issued ID
  • 2 professional references
  • 1 year experience preferred but not required
  • Physical, PPD, and drug screening will be required prior to start date. (on company clearance document)

Job Types: Full-time, Per diem

Pay: $18.55 - $18.80 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
