We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Housekeeper to maintain
cleanliness and organization within our establishment. The ideal candidate will
possess a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment
to upholding high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform thorough cleaning tasks, including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.

2. Laundry Duties: Wash, fold, iron, and put away laundry as needed. Ensure proper care instructions are followed for different fabrics.

3. Organization: Maintain organization throughout the premises by tidying up communal areas, and keeping storage areas neat and orderly.

4. Reporting Maintenance Issues: Identify and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to management in a timely manner.

5. Stock Management: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other essential items as necessary.

6. Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests, residents, and staff.

Requirements:

1. Previous Experience: Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.

2. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

3. Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

4. Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

5. Communication Skills: Good communication skills to effectively interact with guests, residents, and fellow staff members.

6. Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

7. Initiative: Ability to work independently and take initiative to identify and complete tasks without constant supervision.

8. Respectful Attitude: Courteous and respectful demeanor towards staff, parents, and campers.

Frequently it is necessary for individual staff members to cooperate on a project or program, which is important for the continued smooth operation of the camp. Such duties will be under the direction of the camp Program Director.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
