Job Summary:

The Receiving Supervisor will lead a team of inventory associates to process scheduled inbound shipments from vendors, as well as returned product. When not handling inbound product, this position will work alongside the Inventory Supervisor

Duties/Responsibilities:

Receiving Supervisor

• Monitors various software to identify the trucking schedule and required orders allocated to the respective trucks.
• Receiving Supervisor will ensure that the verification and proper unloading is completed safely and accurately.
• Identify and communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues.
• Guide, support, and ensure effective training of team members to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Communicate with truck drivers to ensure they have appropriate paperwork for delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 3 years of inbound shipping experience.
• Ability to read Inbound Smartsheets.
• Accept and process all returned products.
• Properly notate and process applicable paperwork.
• Inspect product for quality and correct quantity.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Ensuring teams members are on task and on schedule with truck schedule.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and warehouse management systems.
• Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft products
  • Ability to operate various types of machinery and warehouse equipment including but not limited to pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and overhead crane when needed.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be in good physical condition and have good motor skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
• Must have good hand/eye coordination.
• Must be able to work in hot and cold weather conditions.
