Description:
Using your expertise in construction & design, you will utilize modern software tools to evaluate residential construction drawings and develop estimation for interior trim, door packages, box beams, counter tops and potentially stair and railing systems.

You will use vendor web-based systems where appropriate and integrate with our internal proprietary cost projection platform as you source and purchase specialty millwork materials.

As a key liaison between customers, vendors and the sales team, the estimator provides information that is critical to establishing and meeting quote, delivery and install dates.

You will be responsible to internal teams, customers, architects, designers, general contractors and/or construction firms who need your expertise for a variety of construction projects.

Required:

• Reliable transportation to Pacific, MO
• High proficiency - PlanSwift, TurboCAD and/or AutoCad - preferred
• Proficiency - MS Office including Word, Excel & Outlook

Education and Experience:

• 5 years of relevant experience in estimation - preferred
• Building and/or residential construction experience - preferred
• post-secondary diploma or degree in design, architecture or business or a similar field of study – preferred

• Ability to manage a fast-paced position with large quantities of administrative tasks

With roots back to 1899, Kirkwood Stair and Millwork is a privately owned company in Pacific Missouri, specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of custom stairs, millwork, and doors for residential and commercial construction. With a 40,000 square foot fabrication facility in Pacific and a one-stop design & concept center in Brentwood, our sales staff, designers, and support staff collaborate with builders, architects, and designers to translate ideas from paper possibilities into reality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
