Sugar Land Gymnastics is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Sugar, TX

Job Title: Receptionist

Description: We are looking for a friendly and professional person to join our team as the front desk receptionist. This is a part-time position and hours will vary. Available hours are Monday & Thursday mornings 8:30am-12:30pm & Tuesday & Wednesday 3:30-8:30pm. Hours are subject to change.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and directing customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Answering phone calls and taking phone messages as necessary
  • Providing customers with information about services offered
  • Register new students for classes/camps
  • Taking payments and handling monies
  • Key holder – opening up for business hours and locking up at the end of the day
  • Keeping the reception area tidy and organized
  • Making copies and filing paperwork
  • Performing general administrative tasks such as emailing, filing, computer work, etc.
  • Checking inventory and recording items needed
  • Basic cleaning tasks to ensure the lounge and bathroom areas are clean and stocked

Requirements:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Professionalism and dependability
  • Telephone and organization skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Self-motivated, team player and positive attitude

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
