Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish and ensuring they are completed on time and on budget. This critical role requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of construction processes.

Responsibilities:

- MANAGE, MAINTAIN, AND MONITOR THE HOMEBUILDING PROCESS FROM PERMITTING TO HOME DELIVERY AND FIRST YEAR WARRANTY.

SUPPORT DRAKE HOMES' MISSION, VISION, VALUES, AND GOALS BY EXHIBITING THE FOLLOWING TRAITS: EXCELLENCE AND COMPETENCE, HONESTY, INTEGRITY, INNOVATION, RESPECT, COMMITMENT TO OUR COMMUNITIES, ACCOUNTABILITY, AND OWNERSHIP.

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders

- Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on-site

- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations

- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution

- Develop and maintain project schedules, including resource allocation and task sequencing

- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work

- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction

- Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and making adjustments as necessary

- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status and milestones

- Define a punch list, then monitor and enforce all corrective work in a timely manner

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials

- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings

- Experience with construction estimating and budgeting

- Extreme multi-tasking skills

- Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Builder Trend)

- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams

- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

- Work hard, play hard attitude
