We are looking for a seasonal Retail Sales Representatives to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business. We are a retail patio furniture store specializing in every day low priced patio furniture. The pay will be a base hourly rate with possible bonuses based on performance. Sales Representatives will greet customers and help address their needs. Typically outgoing people who can make customers feel welcome do the best in this position.

No prior sales experience required, but experience in customer service, and customer interaction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
• Cross-sell products
• Manage returns of merchandise
• Coordinate with the Retail Sales Representatives team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services
• Help in warehouse as needed, assist with loading of customer purchases

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
• Understanding of the retail sales process
• Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
• Basic math skills
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• High school degree

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
