ATTENTION KENNEL MANAGER

Warwick Animal Hospital is a 4,500 square foot, full service animal hospital in NW Oklahoma City. We are a 5 Doctor practice that has serviced our clients since 1979. We have a very strong clientele with a heavy daily caseload.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced full time Kennel Manager who is looking for a fast paced environment to join our team. As a Kennel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kennel facility and ensuring the well-being and care of all animals under our care. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the kennel facility
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kennel areas
- Provide proper care and feeding for all animals in the kennel
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinary staff
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to veterinary staff
- Maintain accurate records of animal care, medications, and treatments
- Oversee the training and performance evaluation of kennel staff

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in animal care required
- Strong knowledge of animal handling techniques and behavior management
- Experience with dog training is highly preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with animal care
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
