Being an OCCI, Inc. Construction Material Handler, Warehouse & Grounds Crew is the job for you. As an OCCI, Inc. Construction Material Handler, Warehouse & Grounds Crew you are responsible for assisting with incoming and outgoing shipments of heavy construction equipment, materials and tools to our project job sites; for maintaining consumable inventory, be organized and have an organized mindset. The successful candidate must be able to work safely in a fast-paced, covered, and uncovered facility.

Some job duties include:

· Keep inventory of repair parts and ensure adequate stock of parts are on hand

· Ensure all tools and equipment are properly tested and functional prior to sending out on rent

· Collaborates with manager to ensure most efficient repairs/maintenance of tools and equipment

• Assist in yard duties as needed, including; cleaning, loading and unloading trucks, and other duties possible in inclement weather
• Receiving incoming tools, equipment & materials from job sites, inspecting, and inventorying returning products

· Manage competing demands and work through frequent changes or unexpected events as a team player.

· Adhere to policies and procedures while maintaining good morale and a reliable attendance record.

· Desire to learn and development knowledge of construction equipment, tools and their operation.

Qualifications/Education:

· Knowledge of use and operating warehouse machinery, equipment, & hand tools or power tools

· Wiling to learn the skills of diagnosing and repair: Gas powered engines, Diesel powered engines

• Must be comfortable operating a computer and a barcode scanner to manage inventories

· Self-motivated, ability to work alone

· Strong desire to learn and contribute at a higher level in the future

· Problem Solving Skills

· Organizational skills, warehousing experience a plus

· Ability to pass background check

· Ability to operate forklift and general construction equipment, preferred.

· CDL a plus, but not required

· Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly.
