About the Role:
Click is looking for a Senior Content Designer to develop the voice, content strategy, and content for Click's patient-facing digital therapeutic applications. This role sits at the intersection of content design, instructional design, and behavioral design. You'll work collaboratively with product designers, researchers, and clinical scientists to understand the needs of patients and the therapeutic goals of the treatment to create engaging experiences for our patients. You will validate content designs through iterative research with patients and incorporate feedback to improve comprehension, support learning and enhance engagement. The ideal candidate will be comfortable transforming medical and psychotherapeutic materials into clear, helpful, easily understood content.
This position can be based out of Click's headquarters located in Tribeca, NYC, at the center of one of the fastest-growing digital health communities or at our industrious office in Raleigh, NC. We have a hybrid working model that consists of at least 3 days in office each week.
Responsibilities:
  • You will create content to support the delivery of the patient experience throughout the entire product lifecycle, and collaborate closely with other designers, researchers, scientists, engineers, and product managers to determine the best way to communicate psychotherapeutic content.
  • You will apply instructional design theories, practice, and methods to create engaging learning activities and compelling content that supports patient understanding and learning and drives behavior change.
  • You will conceptualize, create, and deliver content across a variety of mediums including screen copy, text messages, push notifications, and therapeutic lessons in text, audio, and video format.
  • You are able to synthesize existing science background and product requirements to understand the scope of intended functionality and transform these clinical requirements and therapeutic concepts into engaging and informative patient-facing content.
  • You will participate in research to understand patient needs, identify opportunities and validate both low and high-fidelity content prototypes.
  • You will define content tone and voice that will resonate with patients.
  • You will act as a patient advocate on cross-functional teams, ensuring that we create exceptional experiences that deliver on our promise to "place patients and their loved ones at the center of what you do.
  • You are able to manage content review across multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment with clinical science requirements and adherence to regulatory, quality, and legal standards.
  • You collaborate with and mentor other designers by sharing your work and providing feedback.
  • You may manage the work of external agencies and freelancers, as required.
  • You stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and the approaches to educational, medical, and health content delivery.
Qualifications:
  • 4 years content writing experience in the healthcare space for a consumer audience.
  • 4 years content writing /UX writing experience for mobile applications.
  • Experience with instructional design and creating curriculum-based educational content.
  • Experience working in a collaborative product design team with product designers, researchers, and product managers.
  • Experience in creating voice and tone guidelines.
  • Experience attending and assisting in research and usability testing.
  • Experience in advocating for user-centered design.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables at once to meet tight deadlines.
  • The ability to translate healthcare, scientific, and technology material into readable and engaging content that addresses patient and therapeutic goals.
  • Strong digital writing portfolio.
  • Narrative design and the ability to craft cohesive and engaging content experiences through character development, world-building, and pacing is a plus.
  • Experience with mixed media production is a plus.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is between: $132,000 - $140,000. The final base salary will be dependent upon skills, experience and location. In addition to the base salary, Click Therapeutics offers an annual performance-based cash bonus and a generous equity package.
