Multiple Maintenance Positions Available!

Leading Saco based Property Management Company is seeking multiple maintenance technicians for commercial and residential properties in the greater southern Maine area. Full time positions; hourly pay based on experience.

3 Positions Available!

1. Laborer

Requirements:

• Must have ability to work independently, without supervision, following written and oral directives.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Must constantly adhere to all safety rules and regulations.

Job description:

• Keep property grounds and buildings clean and well groomed at all times, including snow removal.
• Inspect properties to assure quality standards are being adhered to.
• Consistently communicate with supervisor and maintenance team members to ensure that company standards are met.
• Assist maintenance staff with various tasks and projects as needed.
• Perform other related tasks as required or assigned.
• Occasionally help out on other teams, and snow crew.
• Starting pay: 18.00 to $20.00 per hour with a possible increase after 90 days.

Job Type: Full-time - 8 hour shifts - On call - Overtime offered

2. Experienced Maintenance Technician

Requirements:

• Must possess strong mechanical ability as well as general knowledge of maintenance functions including light plumbing, carpentry and unit turnover work.
• Must have ability to work independently, without supervision, following written and oral directives.
• Must be a self-starter;
• Must constantly adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Must have basic hand tools
• Must have and be willing to use reliable personal vehicle. Pick-up truck preferred but not required. Mileage reimbursement provided.
• Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to work off a ladder.
• Must participate in on-call rotation.

Job description:

• Perform routine building repairs and grounds maintenance to include, but not limited to, plumbing fixtures, carpentry repairs, flooring, drywall, painting and other various activities as directed.
• Inspect properties to assure quality standards are being adhered to.
• Properly complete renovations and repairs, in a timely manner, on vacant apartments to ensure that they are in move-in ready condition.
• Keep property grounds and buildings clean and well groomed at all times, including snow removal.
• Consistently communicate with supervisor and maintenance team members to ensure that company standards are met.
• Perform other related tasks as required or assigned.
• Be on-call on a rotating basis.
• Occasionally help out on other teams, and snow crew.
• Training will be provided.
• Starting pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour with a possible increase after 90 days.

3. Commercial and Condos Maintenance Technician

Requirements:

• Must possess strong mechanical and carpentry knowledge as well as general knowledge of preventative maintenance, light plumbing, electrical, HVAC and unit turnover work.
• Must have ability to work independently, without supervision, following written and oral directions.
• Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
• Must constantly adhere to all safety rules and OSHA regulations.
• Must have basic hand tools.
• Must have and be willing to use reliable personal vehicle. Pick-up truck preferred. Mileage reimbursement provided.
• Physical requirements - Lift up to 50lbs; work standing up for 4 hours at a time; safely climb ladders up to 20 feet; work in tight spaces.

Job description:

• Required to perform routine building and safety inspections. Building and grounds maintenance and repairs that may include, plumbing fixtures, carpentry repairs, flooring, drywall, painting, and other various activities as directed.
• Inspect properties to assure quality standards are being adhered to.
• Performing other related tasks as required or assigned.
• Assist vendors with building access
• Be on-call on a rotating basis.
• Occasionally help out on other teams, and snow crew.
• Starting pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour with a possible increase after 90 days.

Applicants must have a clean driving record, and background check will be required.
