The Role

The Billing Manager will work closely with our Landscape Maintenance Division to execute accounting and administrative functions for the division. They will assist all activities that generate revenue, create effective operations, provide accurate reporting, and ensure complete customer satisfaction within a rapid growth environment. They will function as a champion for processes, solutions, and people.

The Team Member We Need

The ideal candidate is highly organized, focused, and productive. This individual thrives in a rapid growth environment and is very detail oriented, proficient with varying software applications and has functional knowledge of accounting procedures. They are excited to contribute to existing knowledge and assess current procedures for efficiency.

Responsibilities Include But are Not Limited To

  • Prepares and reviews all divisional reports relating to sales, operations, and profitability.
  • Assists in the preparation of all estimates, bids, pricing, contracts, and change orders for work within the dollar limits authorized ensuring timeliness and reviewing for accuracy.
  • Assists in preparing departmental budgets and operates within them.
  • Responsible for job costing analysis, credit memo issuance, purchase orders, collections, contract changes and billing and warranty processing utilizing Aspire software application.
  • Ensures all end of month responsibilities and deliverables are accurate and completed on time.
  • Collaborates with team to develop implementation of Best Practices procedures throughout all areas of the division.
  • Works with associations, vendors, agencies, and other industry resources to stay abreast of new methods.
  • Continually pursues new ideas, which could be implemented within the Company.
  • Responds to customer complaints ensuring proper handling to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for development and documentation of current and future processes.
  • Provide support, interface, and information to departmental team.
  • Perform all completed input and reporting.
  • Responsible for producing accurate data.
  • Responsible for maintaining and distributing key information for the department.

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Proficient with relevant software applications.
  • Maintain confidentiality of personal, corporate, and financial data.
  • Technology savvy with experience overseeing software migrations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Strong work ethic with a flexible and positive attitude.
