Davis Place, a nursing home in Danielson CT, is looking for a part time dietary aide to join their team.

Job duties of the Dietary Aide are but not limited to the following:

• Is responsible to prepare and oversee the service of nourishing and attractive meals based on each menu specific diet order
• Reviews menus and work orders to determine type and quantities of food to be prepared
• Prepares meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes in a sanitary manner to ensure quality and minimize waste
• Reviews menus and identifies necessary food items required to prepare therapeutic diets before preparing food
• Work with the facility’s Dietitian/Director of Food Services as necessary.
• Follow all food procedures in accordance with facility policy and/or direction.
• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
• Prepare food, etc., in accordance with sanitary regulations as well as with our established policies and procedures.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Schedule:

• 3:30p-7:30p 3 days a week
• Rotating weekends required
