General Job Function:
Nurses must be dedicated to supporting the mission of Priority Care Pediatrics, LLC: Priority Care Pediatrics provides essential and compassionate healthcare to our community.
The nursing staff is responsible for handling a diverse range of situations and responsibilities. Coordinate patient care through collaboration with the primary physician, and other members of the nursing team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provide care to patients at a very personal level and have direct contact with patients.
2. Collect a patient's health information; take vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
3. Give oral medications and injections to patients.
4. Urinary catheter insertion and care, wound care and dressing changes, and monitoring for change in patients.
5. Proper charting, documentation, and maintenance of patients medical records.
6. Messaging and patient education.
7. Constantly interact with other people and may have to handle several responsibilities at once.
8. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Experienced workers of certified applicants who have passed a national examination.
2. RN/LPN/CMA/MA/EMT--Pediatric experience preferred. Employment history with similar clinic setting(s) preferred. At least 1 year of patient care experience required.
3. Employees are required to comply with Priority Care Pediatrics Employee Immunization Policy. This includes the COVID and influenza vaccines.
4.Employees are required to maintain CPR/BLS. Priority Care Pediatrics will assist employees in obtaining their certifications upon hire if needed.
