Diagnose, disassemble, repair, or replace parts, reassemble, align and adjust. Make parts (replacement) such as small shafts, pins, bushings, etc. Simple Mig and Tig cutting and welding – may be asked to complete assessment testing prior to hire Perform necessary work including analytical troubleshooting and maintenance functions. Install and maintain a variety of electrical equipment such as motors, power and light circuits, starters, and circuit breakers, diagnose electrical circuits, including solid state controls. Diagnose and repair computer equipped controllers for manufacturing equipment. May also make minor building repairs. Must be able to use shop mathematics, charts, tables and handbook formulas. Must be able to work from complex drawings, wiring diagrams and sketches. Use a wide variety of measuring instruments with a prior knowledge of the operation of machine tools, methods, and materials. Operate preventive maintenance system to log maintenance activities, evaluate machine maintenance history and analyze PM effectiveness. Must be willing to advance through continued training and education. Willingness to promote and adhere to the 6s initiatives. Maintain safe and clean work area. Promote team concept and train new employees. Adhere to all safety procedures. Understand and adhere to all relevant ISO 9001 QOP's and API 671 guidelines.
