TYPE: Direct-Hire
LOCATION: Philadelphia, Center City Area (public transit accessible)
ONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: 100% on site with local travel to different sites.
START DATE: May/June 2024
SHIFT: 1 st Shift M-F with on-call as needed
We are looking for an ambitious Jr. Network/Infrastructure Administrator who is looking to quickly become an engineer. This client facing role can be demanding at times but for the right candidate it will significantly accelerate your career ark due to how much you'll learn and be exposed to in a short amount of time.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with 3 rd party clients on Level 1-3 IT support issues.
- Utilize ticketing system to accurately document problems and solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Be reliable, dependable, on time, and present in a professional manner.
- Provide O365 administration.
- Configure firewalls and switches (Fortinet experience is a plus).
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
- Be available on call during the rare occurrence when a client has a mission critical issue that we are responsible for.
- Set group policy in Active Directory.
- Troubleshoot both Windows 10 and 11.
- Manage anti-virus software.
- Provide break/fix for hardware such as laptops and printers.
- Perform some tasks via remote desktop and others off-site.
- Assist with Point of Sale system issues (we'll train you on this).
- High School Diploma or equivalent. 2 or 4 year degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- 3 years of IT Support experience.
- 2 years troubleshooting Windows 10/11 and Office 365.
- 1 year of customer facing desktop support experience.
- 1 year of configuring firewalls and managing group policy in Active Directory.
- Must be a hard worker. This isn't a 9-5 job all the time. Must have a strong work ethic, take pride in your work, do things the right way and shut down for the day only when the job is done.
- Must be a critical thinker with high levels of common sense who can figure out solutions to problems on your own and via personal research.
- Must have a clean driving record, driver's license, and insurance. Don't need to have a car as one can be provided for you.
