Full Time Sales

Salary Range: $18.00/$19.00 hour
Hours: 9 am 5 pm / 10 am – 6 pm
Need to have weekend Availability!
Sandri Energy is now hiring an Assistant Manager for our friendly, Full-Service Gas Station in Northampton, MA> We are a family-owned small chain of gas stations and convenience stores, with 18 locations throughout Western Mass, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Sandri takes pride in providing safe stores that keep our customers (and their cars) fueled up and on the go.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Store Manager include:
- Assisting the Store Manager with supervision and training of staff
- Assisting the Store Manager with paperwork and documentation.
- Assisting with deposits and shift paperwork.
- Being a keyholder for opening or closing the station,
- Working assigned shifts
- Making change accurately
- Answering customer questions
- Station maintenance such as dusting, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and mopping, wiping down counters and gas pumps, making sure sidewalks are clear and putting down salt, trash and recycling
Our ideal Assistant Manager candidate will have the following skills and traits:
- At least one-year prior retail/gas station experience
- Excellent cash handling skills
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable attendance
- Attention to customer service
- Committed to keeping the station clean, stocked, and safe
