Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll from time sheets for classified/certified employees. Generate payroll checks.
Call in Federal taxes the day of pay. Post bi-weekly payroll.
Submit retirement to INPRS online and print reports. Post vacation, sick leave, and run “days used” report.
Submit Classified Attendance bi-weekly to individual schools. Maintain quarterly retirement and benefits spreadsheet.
Maintain Classified Sick Bank.
Maintain certified employee transfer days from previous schools. Assist Executive Secretary with seniority list.
Input payroll and personnel changes to employee file. Prepare/pay WH-1 form online on or before the 20th monthly. Setup new hires and enter terminations in accounting system.
Prepare and submit monthly additionals, garnishments and health insurance. Submit employee health insurance forms.
Prepare Certified Employee (CE) report and submit it to technology office. Submit monthly CES Report.
Submit bi-weekly New Hire Report.
Submit employee information for American Fidelity download. Perform payroll quarterly procedures.
Prepare, print and submit Form 941.
Prepare, print and submit SUTA forms UC-1 and UC5a.
Create, print, and distribute Teacher/Administrator/Some Classified contracts. Compute contract match for eligible 401(a) accounts
Prepare Form l00R.
1095-C/1094-C's
Perform calendar year-end procedures. W-2's
All other necessary duties as assigned bythe Superintendent.
Maintains own regular and prompt attendance (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, daily). Maintains appropriateappearance.
Promotes good public relations for the School Corporation and community.
Remains freeof any alcohol or non-prescribedcontrolled substance abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the Corporation.
Assists the whole central office staff in the supervision and efficient running of daily operations.
