We are currently seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to play a pivotal role in treating patients and promoting optimal oral health practices. As a key member of our team, you'll conduct initial patient screenings, perform thorough teeth cleanings, and offer invaluable guidance on oral health and preventative care. Your expertise will be crucial in assisting dentists in determining appropriate treatments for various dental conditions, including perio-related issues, while also managing dental emergencies with efficiency and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure patients feel at ease and comfortable during their examination
• Maintain proper sterilization of dental instruments
• Perform comprehensive mouth screenings and review oral health histories
• Identify and address conditions such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis
• Administer thorough teeth cleanings and apply fluoride treatments
• Educate patients of all ages on effective oral hygiene practices, including proper brushing techniques
• Provide post-operative instructions and guidance following dental procedures
• Assist dentists in selecting appropriate treatments, including those related to oral cancer detection
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient charts
• Monitor and manage dental supply inventory

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist or similar role
• Proficiency in health and safety regulations, including HIPAA compliance
• Expertise in maintaining and preparing dental equipment
• Exceptional communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Detail-oriented with excellent people skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job with stamina and efficiency
• Diploma in Dental Hygiene is required; Master's degree is a plus
• Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist
