Job Description
We are seeking an Estate Planning Associate to join our dynamic team. As an Estate Planning Associate, you will consult with Partners, team members, and clients to develop comprehensive estate plans tailored to unique needs and objectives. Your responsibilities will include participation in client meetings, analyzing wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents, and providing guidance on tax implications and asset protection strategies. Additionally, you will advise clients on beneficiary designations, healthcare directives, and powers of attorney to ensure their wishes are accurately documented and legally enforceable. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of estate planning laws and regulations. Essential Responsibilities

• Provides expertise and guidance to Partner teams and clients regarding complex estate plans
• Reviews estate plan documents; provides guidance on suggested updates and process for implementation
• Remains updated on changes in estate planning laws, tax codes, and regulations, and conduct legal research to ensure compliance and provide informed advice to Partner teams and their clients
• Provides education for clients who do not have an estate plan to prepare them for discussions with their Counsel
• Maintains strict confidentiality regarding clients' personal and financial information, adhering to ethical and professional standards at all times
• Ensures accurate and organized documentation of all client interactions and communications, maintaining detailed records for compliance and future reference

Qualifications
Qualifications

• J.D. required
• Two years or more estate/trust experience with a law firm, bank or trust company
