Job duties IT Tech is responsible for:
- Plan, install, configure, and maintain IT telecommunications systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty equipment as needed.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability of IT systems.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to implement solutions and enhancements.
- Document processes, procedures, and configurations for reference and training purposes.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in IT telecommunications.
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as required.
- Maintain inventory of tech devices for all staff.
- Relevant IT experience is required.
- A bachelor's or associate degree in IT or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA) preferred.
- Proven experience planning, installing, and maintaining IT telecommunications systems and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Two years of IT or relevant experience.
- Willingness to participate in the training/certification process.
- 20-25 hours per week.
- $20.33/hour.
