Accounting & Human Resources Clerk – Acromil LLC - City of Industry

Our Opportunity

The selected individual will provide administrative support to the Human Resources and Estimating Departments in the areas of benefits, recruitment and compliance. Day-to day responsibilities include interacting with employees on benefit and leave of absence matters, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of employee benefit plan participation, facilitating employee enrollments and dis-enrollments from plans, and monthly reporting and balancing of plan participation data to vendor billings via excel spreadsheets. The Coordinator also maintains HRIS and benefits system data and employee files, supports recruitment efforts including new hire orientation and completes other projects as needed.

Essential Duties:

Accounting

  • Updating and reviewing time keeping in ERP system, E10.
  • Updating and reviewing cycle counts in E10.
  • Back up in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • All other duties as assigned.

HR

  • Assists with recruitment.
  • Assists in maintaining affirmative action program; maintains records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
  • Administers basic STD/LTD/FMLA absences as requested by employees.
  • Assist with benefits administration to include change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees (open enrollment).
  • Assist HR/Payroll administrator to ensure accuracy in timecard and payroll data.
  • Assists with scheduling and conducting new hire orientations when needed.
  • Assists with planning and executing company events.
  • Back up for the Receptionist at the front desk.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-years prior experience in Accounting and HR.
  • Strong computer skills including intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Education/Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent required.

College coursework desirable, Human Resources, accounting or related coursework highly preferred.
