Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and providing them with a strong foundation for their educational journey. Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development
- Provide a nurturing and safe environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
- Encourage creativity and curiosity through hands-on learning experiences
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of child development theories and practices
- Familiarity with literacy education techniques for young children
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Ability to manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to create a warm and supportive classroom environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Montessori or other alternative educational approaches
- Familiarity with toddler care and development
