Warehouse Receiving Associate:

Key Responsibilities
The Receiving Associate is responsible for the receiving of merchandises, signing paperwork upon receipt, unloading or unpacking of merchandises, stocking shelves. He or she performs work in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
· Observes and learns the work process and pro-actively asks questions to ensure successful and timely execution of purchase orders.
· Accepts delivered packages, count and inspects products to ensure quantities match purchase orders.
· Counts and inspects products and verify quantities against purchase orders.
· Unloads merchandising and mark products with identifying description.
· Ensures label is clear and visible and verified before stocking.
· Separates products to be stocked and overstocked.
· Verifies that SKU number and quantity match SKU number and quantity to be stocked.
· Stocks shelves with unpacked items.
· Overstocks boxes on designated shelves
· Notifies lead or supervisor of any damages to products.
Skills & Experience
· HS Diploma or GED and one year of factory- or warehouse-related experience in shipping and receiving
· Ability to work in a non - climate controlled environment
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, reach up, lift and climb ladders all day.
· Must be able to lift and move items over 60 pounds.
· Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office experience are required.
· Must be able to use warehouse equipment such as ladders, cutting tools, etc.
· Experience with inventory management systems and eCommerce platform.
· Must be dependable and on time for work each scheduled day.
· Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
· Organization Skills and team player ability.
· Must have a great sense of urgency.
· Ability to work in a fast pace work environment.
· Attention to detail and ability to stay focused.
· Multi-tasking ability and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to Lead others and ability to learn from and teach others.
