Our dual property, Avid Hotel and Candlewood Suites is due to open May 16, 2024. We have a decent amount of cleaning to do (30-40 hours a week) and of course computer training to complete before the hotel opens in May. We are looking for 3-11 shift full time and part time. Includes weekends. We are also looking for a part time 11pm-7am Night Auditor. Please see more information below.

Guest Service Agents

Responsibilities

• Welcome all guest and team members into the hotel
• Ensure lobby area is warm, welcoming and inviting
• Check in guests, answer phones and take reservations
• Prepare for guest's arrival
• Work with other departments to ensure a positive guest stay
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests
• Provide quick resolution to guest concerns
• Prepare front desk reports
• Assist with resolving out-of-balance accounts
• Balance the cash drawer
• Help prepare the front desk for the next shift

Skills

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Good problem-solving skills
• Strong customer service skills
• The ability to multitask
• Good written and verbal communication skills
