- Minimum 4-6 years’ experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA designation preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe Reader/Pro
- Proficient in QuickBooks (Bill.com & Bamboo HR a plus)
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements within required deadlines.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts to support financial planning and decision-making processes.
- Implement and maintain effective internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare the general ledger accounting processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Conduct various analyses to identify trends, evaluate performance against budget, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and assist in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements with the accounting function. Documenting SOP’s.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making initiatives.
- Prepare and process payroll, including submission of files for employee benefits.
- Oversight of accounts receivable
- Prepare and oversight of accounts payable processes.
- Analyzing and recording credit card transactions.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to partners.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Must be organized and have the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines while working independently.
- Maintains a positive attitude, good communication, and working relationships with support staff, colleagues, and supervisors.
