Bi-County Community Action Programs is Hiring a LONGTERM SUBSTITUTE FAMILY COACH Near Walker, MN
- You love working with all ages, from children to grownups, to build positive relationships
- You have excellent communication skills including speaking and listening skills
- You have patience and can respond calmly when facing challenging situations
- You have great organizational skills
- You are a compassionate person who cares about others
- You do home visits and help parents engage with their children in learning activities
- You’ll help families work on achieving their goals
- You’ll provide developmental information unique to each child
- You’ll build on families’ strengths to create positive interactions
- You’ll advocate for families to receive services and resources, as needed
- You’ll need a minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or comparable credential, and to have been trained or have equivalent coursework in early childhood development with a focus on infant and toddler development.
- You must have transportation available to attend meetings and home visits as appropriate.
- Temporary long-term substitute position. $17.85/hr, 40 hours per week for up to 12 weeks. Eligible for Earned Sick & Safe Time.
