Stuff I Eat is black-owned vegan restaurant located in Inglewood, CA. We are looking for a Food prepper to join our strong team. We are located on 114 N Market St.

Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and reliable. Experience working in a vegan or vegetarian restaurant and/or kitchen experience a must. Have experience chopping vegetables, kitchen equipment and prepping.

Experience cooking on griddle a plus.And we cross train so some days you may work the register as well. California Food Handler's Certificate is mandatory.

Have a passion to work with food than just merely looking for a job. This is a part -time position. Must be available on weekends or at least one weekend day. Pay is $13 , plus tips. With tip wage pay increases to $15 .Great job for supplemental income.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down workstation
• Keep prep table/work station clean & stocked
• Chop Vegetables
• Can work at a fast pace
• Work on Kitchen Line
• Some Cashiering

Qualifications

• Experience working in BOH position
• Dedicated to working with a team towards one common goal
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• California Food Handler's Certificate.
• Familiar with Point-of-Sale
