Wartburg is Hiring a Director of Social Work Near Mount Vernon, NY
The Director of Social Worker plays a key role on our Interdisciplinary Care Team. He or she is responsible for providing person-centered care that is highly individualized and attuned to specific needs and preferences of those we serve. Day-to-day responsibilities involve oversight of the SNF Social Workers services and provision of resident assessments and interventions. The ability to coordinate and work well with members of all disciplines is a must. The ideal incumbent will possess a high degree of emotional resilience, strong empathy, and a high degree of interpersonal awareness. An ability to multi-task and make decisions is a must for success in this rewarding position.
- LCSW is preferred.
- MSW required.
- Must have 5 years of experience in senior care and long-term care.
- Knowledge of MDS 3.0.
