Responsibilities:

• Supervise afternoon and evening youth activities on weekends and some weekdays on an as-needed basis, primarily on Friday and/or Saturday from 5 pm to 11 pm.
• Maintain simple record-keeping and prepare reports for supervised events.
• Implement operating procedures and maintain an organized office, including handling phone calls and inquiries.
• Develop positive relationships with youth and families.
• Assist with setting up and dismantling events, such as game nights, movie nights, and live performances.
• Ensure the facility is clean and safe for all participants.
• Complete other assigned tasks as per the job description.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years’ experience working with youth, either in an employment or volunteer capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, particularly in Social Sciences or Education.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of youth development, including trends and needs of adolescents.
• Preferred experience in cash handling.
• Proficiency in computer systems for updating and maintaining financial records and preparing accurate reports.
• Background and reference checks are required prior to employment.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds for event setup and breakdown.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily evenings and weekends.
• Office and event setup environments.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 5 per week
