We are a Metairie based worker’s compensation self-insurance fund committed to providing exceptional coverage and services to our members. We focus on the hospitality industry offering tailored solutions to meet our member’s needs.

Role Overview:

As an Assistant Underwriter, you will play a vital role in our underwriting process, supporting our team in assessing risk and determining appropriate coverage. You will assist in evaluating insurance applications, conducting research and analyzing data to make informed decisions, issuing COIs and endorsements.

Responsibilities:

Review insurance applications and supporting documentation

Conduct risk assessments and analyze data

Assist in determining appropriate coverage

Maintain accurate records and documentation

Provide exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities

Prior experience in insurance, underwriting or a producer is a plus
