Employee is responsible for opening new accounts and loans, maintaining existing accounts, cross selling bank products and services, deposit and loan input and maintenance, assist with receptionist duties, assisting with all aspects of loan origination, loan administration, loan accounting and providing quality customer service to further customer relations.

Essential Functions:

• Provide customer service to the bank’s loan and deposit customers.
• Open, process, input new accounts, including DDA, savings and certificates of deposit. Account maintenance as needed on existing accounts.
• Assists with lending administration, underwriting, loan analysis and loan support.
• Performs essential loan/deposit accounting duties including use of CIF and loan/deposit systems.
• Interviews loan applicants, checks credit, completes and processes necessary documentation in accordance with bank procedures.
• May make loans, overdraft decisions, or check approval decisions (depending on individual approval authority) that comply with prevailing Bank policies, and which are within current lending authority.
• Accept customer payments and advance requests.
• Research and answer customer inquiries.
• Assist in answering the telephone and transferring calls to the appropriate personnel.
• Research and verify account information and resolve problems for customers as necessary.
• Cross-sell the bank’s services and products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 – 40 per week
