Join the Christian Family Care Team and help us strengthen families and serve at risk children in the name of Jesus Christ! We are a social services agency and have been serving at-risk children state-wide for 40 years. We have done this by acting with empathy and compassion, embracing diversity, and exemplifying Integrity.
Christian Family Care Social Services Agency is looking to hire a full-time Youth Advocate . We are a certified Best Christian Workplace organization and accredited through the Council on Accreditation. This position pays a competitive salary of $18.27 - $21.00 per hour and provides a flexible benefits package which can include health insurance, disability insurance, paid vacation and holiday, mileage reimbursement, and retirement plan.
As a Youth Advocate, you will:
  • Build relationships with the children on your caseload to better understand his/her needs and desires.
  • Raise awareness of the needs, neglect, nurture, and potential of vulnerable children assigned.
  • Develop a team recruitment approach when identifying placements for children over the age of 12.
  • Develop numerous reports to update and track progress of child's recruitment efforts-these reports are sent directly to DCS central office for review and approval.
  • Conduct biweekly home visits with the child to process grief and loss and to identify readiness for adoption.
  • Complete and maintain the training records for the annual minimum requirements for this position.
