Peregrine Market Access is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near Saratoga Springs, NY
Job Description
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing several aspects of our accounting operations, providing accurate financial information to management, and ensuring that all financial transactions are documented in accordance with company policies. You will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, tracking, and collections.
- Manage the account payable function for all expenses.
- Assist with the month-end accounting close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track and monitor the financial standing of our client work.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to help management make key financial decisions about the business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- Solid understanding of accounting concepts (debits/credits, revenue recognition)
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- 2-3 years of experience in a related field
- Experience in a billable hour environment preferred, but not required
