Our capabilities include: manufacturing all types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals for the automotive, truck, farming equipment, defense, and commercial industries.To the qualified candidate we offer: Medical and Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Vacation, 401K with company match, Paid Holidays, STD/LTD Disability Insurance, Vision, Profit Sharing, and more!Job DescriptionDuties & Tasks• Performs weld operations using equipment and materials according to Production Package. • Sets and adjusts robotic weld equipment to ensure defect free welds.• The ability to interpret engineering drawings and weld symbols.• Regularly inspect in-process and finished parts for defective welds according to work instructions and procedures. Ensure quality standards are met to achieve zero defects.• Repair welds using various welding techniques.• Place or pack finished parts into designated containers and ensure proper labeling as instructed. Ensure all labels are legible and accurate to finished part.• Actively participates in training to increase knowledge of the equipment, technology and production capabilities of the robotic welder.• Complete required paperwork and computer entries as required. Ensure accuracy of all entries.• Communicate with co-workers and Supervisor.• Immediately inform leader or member of management of any machine malfunction, production quality, material requirements or safety issues.• Perform repetitive bending, reaching and lifting actions involving material weighing in excess of 10 pounds up to 75 pounds.• Ensure housekeeping duties are performed as a priority to ensure a clean, safe and orderly plant environment.• Monitor production and material supplies. Notify appropriate personnel of shortage prior to running out.• Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment and machines.• The ability to do change over on the robot as to business needs.• May perform other related duties or work at different workstations as production needs require. Skills• Operation Monitoring — Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.• Operation and Control — Controlling operations of equipment or systems.• Monitoring — Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, to make improvements or take corrective action.• Quality Control Analysis — Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.• Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.• Problem Solving – Generating alternatives. Evaluating and selecting alternatives.
