About the Opportunity
As the Regional Business Manager at Monin, you will develop new business and support existing business in the Southeast region. An added responsibility is making and creating effective sales presentations, evaluating potential opportunities, establishing operator marketing programs, hands-on selling that shows Monin’s quality and value, and a solution-based selling approach. The ideal candidate for this role will take their expert technical knowledge about the flavoring industry's highest quality products to end users and executives and demonstrate how to satisfy their guests while increasing their bottom line through our consultative approach.

What You’ll Do

  • Contacting potential distributors and operators to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Manage the foodservice broker sales network on a regular basis.
  • Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Increasing the sales volume of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Finding and developing new markets and increasing Monin sales.
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Developing programs and proposals for clients.
  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of Monin products.
  • Developing and growing sales with broadline Foodservice and Coffee Specialty distributors.

Other Qualifications & Considerations

  • Five years of proven sales experience in food service and/or specialty coffee companies
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills to meet goals and set priorities
  • Be proactive, and organized
  • Overnight travel approximately 40-50%
  • Familiarity with MS Office
