Payroll Specialist
This paraprofessional technical position requires general fiscal knowledge, such as, but not limited to, payroll collection, validation, and processing for multiple standalone locations. Payroll specialist will be familiar with accruing holiday, sick and vacation hours, withholding and submitting wage garnishments, 401(k) contributions and other defined benefits. The successful candidate will also be familiar with payroll tax payments and general ledger entries. Position is accountable for accuracy of entries and reconciliation of data and information.

Minimum Education and Experience
Associate degree in accounting from an appropriately accredited institution, and two years of accounting experience; or High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of experience in accounting work; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
