Position Summary As a Senior Revenue Analyst, you will be coordinating with various departments including Sales, Marketing, Channels, Product, etc., to develop and maintain a rolling sales forecast that aligns with our vision and long-term objectives. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs), establish targets, and monitor performance against these targets. Additionally, the Senior Revenue Analyst will play a pivotal role in fostering alignment across the organization by asking critical questions and assisting leaders in devising actionable strategies to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities. Key Responsibilities
Understand the company mission, vision, and strategy
Participate in long-range planning and the annual budgeting and forecasting process
Perform sensitivity analysis and stress-test the forecast
Identify milestones we must hit in order to achieve our objectives
Track leading indicators and work cross functionally to close gaps
Drive Towards Step-Function Growth & Scale
Gather industry benchmark data to help inform strategies for accelerating revenue growth and sales efficiency
Monito macro and micro economic data to identify opportunities and threats
Work with Sales and Marketing to understand campaigns, track the performance of those campaigns, calculate ROI, and prioritize sales and marketing spend
Work with the Channels team to track leading indicators and build forecast models that reflect channels-led growth
Work with the Product team to understand product release timelines and build forecast models that reflect product-led growth
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
3-5 years of experience as a financial analyst with focus on revenue
Experience building sales forecasts and managing complex financial models
Strong foundational understanding of financial statements
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build lasting relationships of trust
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to distill complex financial information into clear, actionable insights
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in private equity
Experience working in the software industry
Experience with sales attribution to optimize ROI of marketing activities
Experience using Workday Adaptive Planning or other financial planning tool
Familiarity with Netsuite, Salesforce, BambooHR,and Domo
