Details will be provided during the hiring process. About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Receiving Leader to lead our receiving operations. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate receipt, processing, and storage of incoming inventory. They will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, training and leading receiving team members, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
Manage the daily receiving process, ensuring adherence to established procedures and safety protocols.
Lead and direct receiving team members in efficiently unloading, organizing, and verifying incoming shipments in a fast-paced environment.
Utilize strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely product receipt using our warehouse management system (WMS).
Identify and resolve time-sensitive discrepancies with vendor shipments, including filing claims for overages, shortages, or damaged goods.
Maintain clear communication with the Warehouse Manager regarding receiving operations and any potential issues.
Collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain accurate inventory records through participation in cycle counts and audits.
Provide ongoing training and mentorship to develop the skills and knowledge of receiving team members.
Foster a positive and productive work environment within the receiving team.
Basic Qualifications Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with 2 years in a lead or supervisory role (preferred).
Physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve set goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, vendors, and warehouse management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies in shipments.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel (preferred).
A commitment to safety, accuracy, and efficiency in warehouse operations.
Required Education/Degree :
High School diploma or equivalent Required Certification/License: None. Work Experience:
Shipping experience preferred - UPS, Federal Express, USPS, and DHL.
