Description of essential job functions:
Transports WIP, finished goods, and/or raw materials with forklift or other devices as needed to fill orders. Must be able to understand customer specifications. Responsible for the correct cut length and reel, box, and pallet. Must know how to read and execute set up sheets, internal procedures, and policies. Writes proper product information on finished products. Must fill out paperwork properly and label all finished pallets, reels, or bags with proper product code to keep from causing late or incorrect shipments to customers.
Must be able to prepare cables for assembly and attach proper connectors on the cables. Capable of mixing and applying epoxy, using polishing machines and films, curing in ovens, complete end face geometry and insertion and return loss measurements. Will need to understand different connector types, fiber types, and cable types and setup sheets to properly process the assemblies.
Must be team oriented with a high focus on safety, quality, continuous improvement, good communications skills, and ability to follow through on both verbal and written instructions. Performs all necessary housekeeping duties to keep the department clear and orderly. Performs other duties as assigned.
