Maine Oxy currently has an open Laboratory Technician Cylinder Filler position. This is a full-time year-round position with a great opportunity to grow if you are interested in the industry. This is a Monday-Friday 7am-4pm shift with occasional overtime.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely performs a variety of production and testing of gas samples
• Processing incoming and outgoing specialty orders
• Ensures proper documentation and cylinder labeling on specialty orders
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by following Maine Oxy guidelines and procedures
• Cleaning the lab and calibrating lab equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to comprehend basic algebra and mathematics.
• Must be an effective problem solver and be able to work safely and under pressure
• Must be able to effectively participate as a team member to meet safety and customer requirements while continuously improving processes
• Education: High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing-related industry
• Focus on detail and quality of finished product
