Education:
Must be a high school graduate and have Associates degree or have graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
Certificate:
Current certificate in the State of Indiana as a Medical Assistant or registered in the State of Indiana as a Medical Assistant if applicable but not required.
Experience:
Previous medical office experience is preferred.
Other:
Exposure Control Level: _X__ 1 ____ 2 ____ 3
Must maintain current Provider CPR and AED certification.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and assist with 100 lbs.
Knowledge of basic typing and computer skills required. Previous experience with EMR preferred.
May be expected to work Sunday through Saturday in any of our MedStat locations or MedStat covered facilities.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Exposure to potentially hazardous conditions due to patient contact (contagious viruses, bacteria, etc.)
