Job Description Job Description Health and Wellness Program Manager Full Job DescriptionThe Health and Wellness Program Manager serves as a member of the Roland Park Place operations team,and collaborates with operations, events, and sales team members to strategize, plan, implement, promote,facilitate, track, and increase community engagement on health and wellness initiatives. This position isdirectly responsible for developing and delivering person centered and experiential programs, evidence-basedhealth educational programs, wellness classes and activities, and lifelong learning. In addition to leading thedevelopment of new and expanded program offerings; the role collaborates with sales and leadership tostrategize overall program vision, brand, and revenue opportunities.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Leads the development of new and expanded program offerings. Data informed program planning: national and local healthy aging organizations, current research, bestpractices, attendance, impact, resident feedback, resident polls. Deliver evidenced-based programs, health and wellness classes and activities. Oversee and leverage program partnerships with local and national health education organizations,vendors, as well as individual educators and facilitators. Identify, recruit, and implement contract or volunteer programs and facilitators. Oversee health and wellness team. Develop standard operating procedures. Develop 5 star service standards. Manage and support the day-to-day operations and programs in response to facilitator needs, roomset-up and take-down, technology needs, attendance, and reporting. Collaborate with team members to plan, craft and disseminate content to be used for social media,internal and external communications, outreach efforts, and sales promotions. Utilize existing program and class management software to organize, promote, track, and analyzeattendance, growth, and success. Utilize data to inform future program development initiatives. Provide both community value services (included in existing resident programs fees) as well identifybusiness growth opportunities for value added services (create new fee schedules, memberships, etc.) Works within the program budget, and existing RPP processes to maintain needed administration. Provide program value and cost effective budget management by offering a blend of self ledprograms, as well non-profit organizations, volunteers, as well programs with an associated fee. Other duties, program, and event support as needed.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS Ability to build a community environment that is both accessible as well as conducive to learning andappropriate to the maturity and interests of participants. Knowledge of healthy aging and ability to facilitate and manage groups of individuals of diverseabilities and backgrounds. Communicate effectively both orally and through correct written grammar and usage. Possess strong facilitation skills. Proven, superior organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize work in acomplex, multi-tasking environment. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines and to work independently as well as in ateam. Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with diverse audiences. Commitment to Roland Park Places missionRole Permaters Ability to pass a criminal background check. Current drivers license, dependable licensed and insured vehicle. Local travel required. Evening and weekend hours availability as needed. Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally. Proficient use of computer software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Zoom, etc.) Position is generally M-F 8:30-5.
