Job SummarySupervise the day-to-day operations of HR during 2 nd shift to ensure a high level of productivity. Responsible for the recruitment process, benefits administration, training, conflict resolution, and other operational tasks as needed. E nsuring compliance with all relevant legislation, and HR policies and procedures .HR Supervisor ResponsibilitiesConducting interviews, recruiting, and evaluating new staff .Oversees new hire orientation for 2 nd shift new hires .Assisting managers with staff requirements.Identifying and addressing employee requirements regarding performance issues, training, and career growth.Performing various administrative tasks and accurately processing paperwork.Counseling staff on HR policies, practices, and procedures.HR Supervisor RequirementsStrong leadership skills and the ability to work unsupervised.Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills .Strong moral and ethical code.Competency in Microsoft Office , learning management systems , presentation tools and HRIS .Excellent administrative skills.In-depth knowledge of HR practices, administration, and state and federal HR lawsExpertise in conflict management and relationship-building skillsAbility to take initiative and maintain confidentiality.Duties / ResponsibilitiesResponsible for taking care of the walk-in traffic of employees, candidates, and visitors to the HR office.R esponsible for Recruitment, selection , and placement processes for all hourly production employees.Responsible for m aintaining & updating the facility staffing reports.The complete I-9 verification processNew employee data entryNew hire orientationEmployee termination process , including conducting exit interviews with hourly employees.Responsible for all termination recordkeepingThe employee attendance program recordkeepingThe administration of short-term and long-term disability and FMLAResponsible for internal employee job posting and internal employee communication system.Responsible for the entire onboarding process for all new hires.Conduct ongoing employee and supervisor training.Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager and or Assistant HR Manager.Required Skills / AbilitiesCandidate must be 100% bilingual English- Spanish.
