Freight All Kinds is looking for an Operations Coordinator with the qualifications outlined in this job description, plus a flexible, diligent work approach. Responsibilities
- Assist the Vice President of Operations with operational duties
- Collaborate with Operations, Sales and Accounting to solve carrier/customer issues
- Assist carriers with setup/registration
- Update/maintain carrier profiles with warnings from agents, MCP and FMCSA regarding
- Make sure that carriers are compliant before being opened for use
- Carrier Setup: update insurance, open carriers, and review override requests from agents to
- Contact customers for payment issues
- Provide detailed analysis of loads when required
- Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls and emails
- Research and provide accurate data for claims
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right tools and methods
- Ability to communicate effectively to internal and external personnel at all levels
- Any other duties as assigned
- 1-2 years of experience in transportation operations
- Proficiency in data entry and clerical duties
- Ability to manage tasks independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to commute into the office
- The schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Previous experience in operations or similar roles is advantageous but not required
- Demonstrated ability to handle high volumes of work with accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members effectively
- Proficiency in relevant software applications for email required
- Salary range: $20 - $23 per hour, depending on experience
