Directorof Care

KaseyPaige Health Careis seeking a Director of Care. TheDirector of Care oversees the entire nursing department. The Director of Careensures the nursing department is following the policies and procedures setforth by the organization and giving optimal care to the residents. TheDirector of Care is a direct reflection of the performance and compliance ofthe nursing staff. The Director of Care will train, educate, and assist thenursing staff. This is a salary position.

Essential job functions are as follows, but are notlimited to:

·Trainand oversee the performance and compliance of the nursing staff. Providetraining and education as needed. Provide in-servicing bi-monthly.

·Followthe weekly checklist, monthly task list, and monthly audit list. Ensure alltasks are completed for the nursing department. 

·Coordinatestaffing and complete the staffing schedule. Monitor daily to ensure thebuilding never falls below minimum staffing requirements.

·Monitornursing expenses and ensure the nursing department operates within budget.

·Ensureappointments are scheduled and attended. Review all paperwork upon return.

·Charton residents and monitor all charting notes to ensure completeness andaccuracy.

·Ensurethe injection calendar is complete and accurate, signed, and sent to thepharmacy.

·Trackemployee TB, CPR, First Aid, Insulin, and L1MA certifications.
