Job Summary:#Under the supervision of a physician and the Director of Cardiopulmonary, administers prescribed cardiopulmonary#procedures, performs a variety of technical procedures and assists in the cleaning, maintenance, and disinfection of cardiopulmonary#equipment.# Qualifications/Reporting: Required minimum education:#Must be a graduate of a Respiratory Care Program from an accredited American Medical Association (AMA) program. Required minimum experience:#One year as an RRT preferred. Required skills(if applicable):##Ability to read and write, effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to comprehend and follow verbal or written instructions. Flexible to work all shifts, including holidays#and occasional call requirements. Required license/certification:#Must be a Registered Respiratory (RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care, Inc. (NBRC). Must have a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license from either the Texas Department of State Health Services OR Texas Medical Board. Must have current certification in BLS prior to hire. Required to have ACLS within three months hire. PALS and NRP required within one year of hire.
