RESTAURANT GROUP MARKETING MANAGER

Spunky, seasoned, independent, 13 store (each an individual concept, although we hate the word ‘concept’) local restaurant group seeks a dynamic Marketing Manager to lead our multi-channel outreach, work with our in-house team of designers, writers and photographers as well as external media outlets to carry each group’s unique voice into the next digital frontier (if we’re sounding like Tron: Legacy, we’re dating ourselves, there…). Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive engagement across various social media platforms
  • Oversee development and approval of content and scheduling for social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok
  • Coordinate and approve all core content and scheduling for marketing initiatives, including copywriting and image selection
  • Manage content, strategy, and budget for digital brand marketing efforts
  • Provide editing and proofreading expertise within the media and marketing department to ensure high-quality content
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to track performance, identify trends, and optimize content for maximum reach and engagement
  • Develop and manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance analysis
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with influencers and brand advocates to amplify brand presence and reach new audiences
  • Maintain an acute awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies in mixed-media marketing to continually innovate and optimize strategies
  • Work with our in-house team of designers, writers, and photographers/videographers to produce compelling multimedia content for social media platforms
  • Oversee public and external media relations to increase brand awareness, highlight special events and hiring initiatives, and proactively manage company news and press releases
  • Generate and coordinate media appearances and features with mixed-media outlets, including but not limited to local news, magazines and radio
  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistency and adherence to each brand’s voice and guidelines across all social media channels
  • Curate and review reports to provide analytics and insights to owners and leadership highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
  • Other work-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Hospitality social media marketing experience: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Proven experience in both marketing management and social media marketing roles
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting and copyediting
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in social media analytics tools
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and content creation
  • Experience with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager)
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team-focused, interdepartmental setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
