Job Description
A Data Entry Clerk, or Data Entry Specialist, is responsible for inputting data and making changes to existing data figures in digital databases. Their duties include inputting data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets, updating order statuses for customers and double-checking their work to make sure they inputted data correctly.
Reports To
On-site Project Lead or Inspection Lead
Job Duties
  • Accurately enter data into corresponding fields within various software programs
  • Identify and correct data entry errors using appropriate quality control methods
  • Provide general data entry support across various teams on an as needed basis
  • Support project in keeping tracking systems up to date and accurate for project reporting
  • Create inspection job packages for teams in the field
  • Support execution of other tasks to aid in the efficient operation of the field team
Accountabilities
  • High quality data and efficient entry and package creation.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate Degree or 1 Year in office or onsite data or clerk work
  • Ability to work 40 hours a week within the hours of 6:30 AM- 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong aptitude for learning new processes and skills
  • Independent problem solver and high performing team player
  • Able to adapt to evolving client demands
  • Initiative to exceed beyond set expectations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Inspection Data Management Systems and CMMS, specifically Meridium (APM) and SAP
  • Experience in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical operations
  • Familiarity with P&IDs, inspection Isometrics, and inspection techniques
  • On-site customer experience

  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Working Environment
  • Conditions may include working inside and/or outside. May work around office machinery with moving parts and moving objects. Working near radiant and electrical energy. Working closely with others or working alone. Working extended or irregular hours and travelling by all possible modes of transportation.
Physical Job Requirements
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, stoop, reach above the shoulder, grasp, pull, bend repeatedly, climb stairs, identify colors, hear with aid, see, write, count, read, speak, analyze, lift and carry under 30 lbs., and perceive depth.
Tools and PPE Requirements
  • Equipment (machines, tools, devices) used in performing the essential job function include but not limited to computers and related equipment, calculators, copiers, fax machines, and telephone.
