Kress is looking for a full-time Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System Administrator to join our team! We are the leading manufacturer of specialty off-highway vehicles. Our growing technology department is seeking a system administrator to manage our in -house Infor application.This position will be responsible for the iSeries architecture, the ERP software and Infor XA.Update and maintain system menu options, range holder values, templates, and user profilesSupport the development of and maintain and update Infor-associated proceduresPerform system troubleshooting and resolve or escalate issues for resolution as necessaryAnalyze performance of systems and report any trends to managementDrive (RPG) programming development and maintain existing RPG programmingAssist with Windows administrationDuties and Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support, patching and updates to Infor serversIdentify and troubleshoot issues in a timely fashionCreate and maintain technical documentationEnsure maximum system uptime and availability to the users
Address user concerns presented via a ticket system
Perform development work (programming and configuration) for special projects
Administer user security
Manage licensing and support agreements
Develop and maintain documentation Experience and Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree or Infor XA experience
RPG ii, ISeries and SQL experienceProblem Solving Requirements:
Trouble shoot softwareMajor Challenges of this position:
Legacy and customized software may require substantial hands-on experience to become adept at troubleshooting. Benefits:
